Theoros - im griechischen Vorfahr des Theoretiker unserer Zeit. Ein Theoros ist der Begleiter einer städtischen Gesandtschaft, die eine fremde Stadt besucht. Er sollte nicht verhandeln, er sollte alleine beobachten. Er sieht sich in der fremden Stadt um. Er überprüft, welche Schätze in den Tempeln gesammelt werden. Nach ein paar Tagen kennt er die Gewohnheiten der Fremden und kann sie in Worte kleiden. Nur durch Hautkontakt kann man mehr erfahren als ein solcher Theoretiker. (Alexander Kluge)
Theoros - in the greek ancient ancestor of the theorists (dt.: Theoretiker) of our time. A Theoros is the companion of an urban legation visiting a foreign city. He should not negotiate, he should observe alone. He looks around the strange city. He checks what treasures are collected in the temples.
